Below you will find the terms of use for graphics by LJDesigns. These terms are reiterated on the each graphic page where downloading is available. If you feel you cannot follow these rules, please DO NOT use these graphics. Thank You!
OK, with that out of the way...
The graphics used to decorate my pages are not avaialable for download.
Each design set has a designer logo. To use these sets the logo MUST be on the same page the set is on and linked to http://ljdesigns.freeservers.com. Single graphics must also have a logo or text link to this site.Credit not on the same page is allowed ONLY IF the link to the "credits page" is clear and on the same page as the set.
No modification of these designs is allowed.
Sets are designed to be used as such. Please use set pieces together, not a bar from one set with a background from another. Some design sets are jpgs and not the transparent gifs that make it possible to mix and match. Many of those that ARE transparent gifs have an edge that matches the background and have a pixel shadow. To avoid the possible breaks in your background, use the pieces that go with that background.
Some sets may have a logo for an artist whose art the designer used for the set. This logo, and the accompanying link if there is one, is required in addition to the designer's logo.
These sets are for NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY! However, we can discuss it. :o)
Remember, ALL graphics must be loaded into your own server. To save, place your mouse on the image, click the right mouse button, choose "save image as", and save to your computer. Upload the graphics from your computer. DO NOT link from the the graphics here! To understand why this is vitally important, go here.
(NOTE: For these pages, the right click function has been disabled. however it works just fine on the sets.)
Please email me with the url of where you used these designs so that I may go and see how you used them. This will also allow me to add your page to a showcase that I may add later.
SO AS TO NOT CONFUSE ME WITH A THIEF, the below statement is for my protection against people who have nothing better to do than to criticize other peoples websites.
Some designs may be considered "adult oriented". This DOES NOT mean pornographic! I have recently discovered beautiful fantasy art by talented artists and may be making sets from thier work.
The issue of the Yahoo-Geocities TOS #8 has supposedly been settled. However the following is still in the TOS: "By submitting Content to Yahoo for inclusion on your Yahoo GeoCities Site, you grant Yahoo the world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting your Yahoo GeoCities Site on Yahoo's Internet properties.
"Still sounds like bunk to me. Please note that if you use Yahoo-Geocities or several other "free" servers, use graphics by LJDesigns, you could be violating our copyright. Since Yahoo-Geocities also absolve themselves from any damages that occur, you are the one who could be held accountable. So please consider the use of our graphics very carefully on these servers as YOU are the one held responsible for any damages: Yahoo-Geocities, Tripod, Xoom, MSN, Suite 101, or Virgin.net. Read the TOS of any server you consider very carefully. For server options, try FreeWebspace.net

Welcome to LJDesigns. The sets and/or graphics offered here are NOT "free", they are linkware, meaning they REQUIRE a link back. So MAKE SURE to read ALL the rules.
Please do not "borrow" them.
These designs, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, are copywrited by ©LJDesigns and are NOT to be placed in graphics collections or offered as free designs by anyone other than the designer. By this I mean, that the GRAPHICS I have made to go in a SET, ie. buttons, bars etc.,are solely my creation. If I used an artists' image, alone or as part of the set, the copyright is HIS/HERS, NOT MINE, what I made to GO WITH THE image, that does NOT HAVE HIS/HER IMAGE on it, IS MINE.
